Chennai, Russian Cultural Centre : I ve attended several book release functions held at the Russian Cultural Centre. Unlike the other suffocating-tight-security embassy campus, this one is truly a visitor-friendly place. The security smiles at you even if he finds something Beep-beeping in your handbag :) Most of the time the entry to many of the book releases and film festivals are free. And if you become a member, you can attend almost all the events taking place there. - Thendral
